An American girl arrives in India to live with her Colonel grandfather and teaches the adults that there are other ways than war to solve problems.

Kabir Khan knows what it's like to come back from the dead. The ex-Indian field hockey captain has now come back to the sport as the coach of the Indian Women's National Hockey team, a team that exists more on paper and less in reality. The girls have never known the thrilling energy of being Team India, but Kabir, once a captain, now forgotten, does.
